Joanne Ogburn.
She has 24 years of travel experience – 16 years gained at ‘the sharp end’ abroad in 21 destinations worldwide. This has provided her with an invaluable knowledge of the practical issues involved in provided a high-quality bespoke travel service.
Starting as a holiday representative, she worked her way up to a senior manager role in charge of 42 people.
Her areas of expertise have included negotiating and securing advantageous deals with hotels and other providers; recruiting and training new staff; and organising travel arrangements for major conferences and overseas events
Her areas of specialism will be Mediterranean business, business travel, management and business development. Joanne Ogburn will be responsible for the management of the day to day running of the business.

Lisa Burton
Has worked for 5 years on cruise ships, off the east coast of America and in the Caribbean. Starting as a casino cashier, she moved up to head cashier in charge of 3 staff and a bank of one million dollars.
Back in the UK, she started up two secured loan companies for established mortgage businesses, before establishing The Bridal Consultant in 2004.(http://www.thebridalconsultant.co.uk/ ) Operating in five hand-picked locations, it is now a well-recognised and respected leader in the destination wedding market. It handles over 100 weddings a year.
Her areas of specialism will be weddings abroad, Caribbean and East Coast America, business development, marketing and business management.

Matthew Burton
Has worked for six years on cruise ships, initially with Carnival Cruise Lines before contracts with luxury cruise-lines Celebrity Cruises and Royal Caribbean. Starting as a croupier, he worked up to the position of pit manager, overseeing games often involving thousands of dollars moving very quickly between players.
On returning back to the UK, he became a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (qualifying for an ‘early bird’ certificate by completing his studies within a year) and worked as a Network Technician for seven years.
He has created and developed the website for The Bridal Consultant, and continues to optimise and update its content.

The three partners have complementary skills which fit well together. More importantly, they share a common ethos and set of values in providing customer focussed, high quality and personalised services, honed in demanding customer service environments.
